If you want to stop Windows 10 updates, you can do so by adjusting your system settings. Here are a few methods:
1️⃣ Pause Updates Temporarily
Open Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update
Click Pause updates for 7 days (you can extend this by clicking Advanced options)
2️⃣ Disable Windows Update Service (Permanent Stop)
Press Win + R and type
services.msc
Scroll down to Windows Update, right-click, and select Properties
Change Startup type to Disabled
Click Apply and OK
3️⃣ Modify Group Policy (For Windows 10 Pro Users)
Press Win + R and type
gpedit.msc
Navigate to Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Windows Update
Find Configure Automatic Updates, double-click, and select Disabled
Click Apply and OK
⚠ Note: Disabling updates can make your system vulnerable to security risks, so it's best to pause updates rather than permanently disable them.
